We refer to the 2018 CIRCUIT Rulebook (digital version) published on the UIM website with date of 22nd December 2017.It has been brought to our attention that the first paragraph of rule 509.05 published in this version does not correspond to what was approved during the General Assembly week in Budva.Please see below the valid text for the 2018 UIM CIRCUIT Rulebook, based on the corresponding paragraph from the 2017 Rulebook, with the modified part (italic/underlined).“It is mandatory for new boats built after January 1st 2016 and recommended for all boats, the cockpit must afford a minimum of 10 cm (4in) clearance above the drivers helmet and extending laterally at least 45° from the vertical. See Figure 1”We will amend the 2018 UIM CIRCUIT Rulebook accordingly and re-publish it on the UIM website by end of this week.
